Meet Scenic City Wellness
We’re a unique healthcare practice that provides primary and acute care and internal medicine to adult patients. Most anyone can select Scenic City Wellness as their healthcare provider, but we are especially interested in helping veterans, minorities and people dealing with chronic health challenges.
Michalle Morris, MSN
Born and raised in Chattanooga, Michalle Morris proved nursing was in her blood when she received the Mary Mahoney Nursing Award as Outstanding Student from Chattanooga State Technical Community College. After getting her "feet wet" as a nurse for several years, she decided to pursue additional education and graduated top of her class from Southern Adventist University with a BS and MS degree in nursing.
Morris' ten years of adult nurse practitioner and 25 years of registered nurse experience as an intensive care unit charge nurse gave her a wealth of knowledge about health and healthcare.
Her interest includes, but not limited to, prevention, health maintenance, wellness, and management of chronic diseases. She focuses on treating the "whole body," which involves the patient, family, mind, body, and spirit.
As a loyal provider, she is driven to build strong relationships with her patients and their families while acting as a patient advocate to achieve the best possible outcomes for all involved. She enjoys using education to help those who come to her that they make appropriate and better health decisions. She belongs to several state and national nursing associations, serves as the Health Committee Chair at the National Coalition 100 Black Women Inc., Chattanooga Chapter, sits on the Mayor's Council of Women for Health, and volunteers at her church as the Health and Wellness Committee Chair.
In addition to her passion for healthcare, Morris enjoys mentoring and empowering young girls to become strong women through education, collaboration, and self-awareness. Morris and her husband have a beautiful blended family that includes six kids and two grandkids. She relishes in spending time with family/friends, yard sales and reading.
Rashunika Patillo, MSN
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Rashunika moved to Chattanooga, TN in 2007. She is a graduate from Ooltewah high school May of 2010, she then attended UTC where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2015, and continued at UTC for her Master’s of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Medicine in Nursing in 2020.
Rashunika graduated top of her class, receiving many academic awards, including Nurse Practitioner student of the year in April of 2019 for academic and clinical excellence, also graduating with Summa Cum laude honors.
Rashunika’s passion is to provide holistic health care and empower patients by equipping them with information and evidence-based knowledge to make well-informed educated choices related to their personal health.
Whitney Dye, National Certified Medical Assistant
I’m so honored to have this new opportunity in working with Michalle Morris, ANP-C. I’m very outgoing and a very cheerful person who really loves her family. My passion is helping others not only in the office but anyway I can. I love volunteering at events and places around the Chattanooga area and plan on continuing that alongside working at Scenic City Wellness. I’m very excited and can’t wait to meet every patient that comes through the door.

It is an honor to be a part of such a loving team. I look forward to greeting and talking with people each day. It does my heart good to put a smile on someone's face and encourage them to have a better day. I take my assignment to heart. The same smile that I give when I encounter them is the same smile I give when I speak with them on the phone. My husband and I have 5 girls and 3 grandchildren with whom I love spending time with. I love to sing, dance and create beautiful spaces for people. Overall I love to serve and l love being part of the team at Scenic City Wellness.
